For those of you not agnostic, or atheist, but have a firm well held conviction and a supreme judgmental viewpoint with Christ in your heart, probably want to steer clear of this book, it has heretical viewpoint that opposes Mainstream Christianity. I doubt you will enjoy this book, you will be to busy asking for forgiveness from your creator to actually use this philosophy to open your heart and your mind. As a recovering Pentecostal Charismatic (born and raised) and now feel I posses a spirituality rather than a religion, I felt in tune with the character Jubal Harshaw, his no-nonsense approach really touched me, Also give me a way of explaining my change of belief to my family, who remain fervent believers of the good ol King James Bible. I'm going to let this book settle in a bit and continue to think on it. Then read it again. I wish I had a more eloquent way of fully expressing the impact this book had on me.
