This was a heartwarming book with a story about an overworked father who has not spent a lot of time with his son, who finds himself fired from his time consuming job. He learns to take on the care of his son, and to accept him for who he is, while learning what it is he wants to do with the rest of his life. During his journey he reconciles with his own father, and learns to accept that he was not the cause of his wife's death in an airplane crash two years ago. Filled with interesting characters including his twin sister Zadie who has been helping with his son; Moose his friend from work and the long lost father he never really knew, but hated and held responsible or his early life. A good read and uplifting in that Charlie moves on with his life and learns there is more to enjoying life but working long hours to make money.
