Summary

My frustration with the 2nd book is that it takes a few chapters before you can really get into because she is forcing a recap of the 1st book to get anyone caught up. The characters can be annoying. I understand that the twins have a deep spiritual connection but I think the author could have found a cooler way of getting that point across than just having them complete each others sentences or repeating each other, she makes them look stupid. Zoey is a little too perfect for my liking. She used any opportunity to call Aprodite a "ho". I kept thinking "enough already, we get it, you dont like her). I think the author forces too many of her points. Shes slightly preachy about her feelings on religion, and the fact that everyone should accpet gay people. It was ok to read at first but after about the 10th time it was mentioned in the book--I wanted to yell. Overall the story line of the Vampyre school and the adventures I think are original. I am interested in following the series despite the flat characters and the cliches. I am just starting the 3rd book and I hope I dont get too anoyed with it to finish it.
