Not too bad, it seems to consist mainly of songs with thinly veiled allusions to The Beatles.

I liked it. I didn't know who the other musicians were when I listened to it. I thought Ringo made a good album.

Ironically enough, for a guy who had a feud with Lennon in Southern California in the 70s, Runtgren writes well with Ringo here, on the song containing all the Beatles titles in the lyrics. He had aimed a song at John, ROCK AND ROLL PUSSY--way back in the 70s, but that did not have anything to do with the Beatles drummer, apparently. Anyway, if you performed with Ringo's All Starr Band, you very likely would be used on future Ringo albums. Peter Frampton is another. Richard Marx co-writes a few, here, and the whole cd sounds of a high quality--much better than any from his slump after topping the charts in the early 70s. Ringo is no songwriting Harrison, Lennon, or MacCartney, but he at least competent now. His pipes he has preserved, so the cd sounds better for the singing than he sounds singing live. ( Of course, he's also drumming at the time, live). I think you'll enjoy this one. A strong effort. I do have a bone to pick, however: Ringo's band before the Fabs was called Rory and the Hurricanes. He devotes the first song on the cd to them, a sort of history, if you will. Wouldn't it have been nice to have included any of them as musicians, for this song? Graceful, courteous. Also, I missed having lyrics to read while listening to the music.
