It's one of the more common things I have heard over the years when people learn that I am a vegetarian. People love to tell me, "Well Hitler was a vegetarian you know..."
I probably do many things that Hitler also did...like put on shoes, ride in cars and paint pictures -- but no one ever argues that there is something wrong with doing those things simply because a notoriously evil person did them also!
None-the-less, many will appreciate the well documented facts that this concise little 80 page book has assembled to lay this ridiculous mythology to rest.
Hitler was never a vegetarian. That was just one of many lies his propaganda machine promoted. The claim he was a vegetarian was intended to make him appear disciplined and an ascetic. Many witnesses including his chef were on record that he ate meat.
Eloquently written and thoroughly researched. You can read this entire book in one sitting.
