This twisted form of love undermines the very goal you wish to achieve and makes you lose your own way. The author has walked this path and has mentored others who share this difficult journey. she provides powerful ideas, powerful ideas, pertinent examples, and concrete steps that will help shine a light on your inherent worth, restore your sanity, and reclaim your life. And it just might be the best thing you can do for your addicted loved one. Often, when you get better, they get better too.

This book is absolutely so very accurate and insightful for the family who has a loved one who is addicted to alcohol. Everything the author says, I have thought to myself and done many of the behaviors. This book gives great advice for how to be supportive to your addicted loved one, yet be sure to take care of yourself. Excellent
