I loved this relevant movie. The exact situation depicted in the movie might not particularly be applicable to you, but in other ways of your life a similar circumstance might present. In real life, the answer to 1+1 can range from - to +∞, it's not always 2. Sometime you are faced with the question of how to proceed with life. I guess the answer always seems obvious and simple but not easy, especially both within family dynamics and personal relationships. It was thought provoking for me.

A film by Ava DuVernay, who directed "Selma." David Oyelowo, who played MLK in "Selma" co-stars.

WASTE OF TIME. IMPOSSIBLE TO FOLLOW AND A LOT OF SILENT STAREING. MANY SCENES FILMED IN POOR LIGHT. NOT REALISTIC.

I’ve seen David Oyelowo (pronounced Oh Yellow Woh) here and there, usually in supporting roles, but not ever really remembering which of the new African-American actors he was. And now here he is in The Middle of Nowhere. Prior to this film he was in Lincoln, The Last King of Scotland and The Help and after this film he got a Golden Globe nomination for his portrayal of MLK in Selma. While it is not its main theme, it shows today’s unequal justice system doing great damage to the black family. It’s nice to see veteran actresses Sharon Lawrence (NYPD Blue) and Lorraine Toussaint (everywhere) supporting this very good Black Indie.

This film is one of the worst in bring able to know who the characters are in the scenes and what relation they have to each other, as well as the main character appearing in scenes that show her with a man, but
leave the viewer completely in the dark as to whether it is supposed to be a flashback with her husband or is it in real time with another man.
Complete waste of time.
