My niece got me hooked on Imagine Dragons and I'm so glad she did! This is an awesome album. I agree that all the songs on here are hit worthy.
While Thunder and Believer are more popular, I prefer Whatever It Takes. All the songs in here are great though.
Totally agree with the precious comment . EVOLVE strays too far away from how well they can do , and have in previous CD'S . there are only 2 good songs on EVOLVE worth listening too in my opinion . I Don't Know Why and Thunder . the others are meh .
In this album Imagine Dragons strays to far from the brilliance that was achieved in Smoke + Mirrors, yet they appeal to "the masses" in the two hit singles 'Believer' and 'Thunder'. Evolve reflects good marketing with the use of commercials on spotify and such but it lacks in good music.
This Album is way better then Smoke + Mirrors and Night Visions combined. Almost every song on the album is a hit. I don't know how you can think Smoke + Mirrors is better man.
Evolve (stylized as ƎVOLVE) is the third studio album by American rock band Imagine Dragons. This album includes 11 songs and 3 singles. The singles are titled as “Believer" and “Thunder”. The album's sound has been described as pop rock while containing elements of R&B, hip hop and EDM. The album’s title “Evolve” represents the evolution of Imagine Dragons in terms of sound (music). The songs in this album sound generally strong and at times, dark. The songs have a mix of up-tempo and downtempo music., For example, “I Don’t Know Why”, “Walking The Wire”, “I’ll Make It Up To You”, “Thunder”, and “dancing In The Dark” are all downtempo music. I enjoy the songs in this album because of the beats and the similarities to electro music. My personal favourites are “Believer”, and “I’ll Make It Up To You”. Overall, the second studio album by Imagine Dragons was much better than this one because this album felt as if this was an experimentation gone wrong. They experimented by including multiple genres in each song such as electronics, pop, rock and mixed it together, with a failed result.
