Traces the history of black America back to ancient African civilization, examining attempts by the white establishment in the U.S. to conceal this knowledge as a means of undermining African American identity. Presents theories of scholars and social commentators which comprise a history in which African Americans have been systematically oppressed as a people.

The one thing that i really didn't expect part 1 of this documentary series to do was to WORSHIP Barack ''OBUMA'' because of the fact that his mother is Caucasian and his father is Black.I actually thought that i was going to end up giving this a much higher star rating than 3 stars, but the totally unexpected Barack ''OBUMA'' promotion so to speak really pisses me off period.Another thing that really rubs me the wrong way about this documentary is the fact that i hear a black woman ladies and gentlemen say out of her own mouth that ''WE DON'T HAVE TO UNITE,JUST HAVE THE SAME IDEA''.If you think i am LYING and you have NOT seen this otherwise extremely educational documentary, rent and share this with all the black people you can right now and tell me what you think about this personally as soon as you can,OK?????????????????????? BLACK PEOPLE REFUSING TO COME TOGETHER AND LOVE ONE ANOTHER GENUINELY WORLDWIDE IS THE REASON WHY THEY FINISH LAST FOR EVERYTHING THAT THEY NEED AND THAT IS GOOD PERIOD.POLITICS OWNS BLACK PEOPLE PERIOD,BUT YOU DON'T HEAR ME THOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
