This book is very disappointing. It is a nice collection of Doyle's classic Sherlock Holmes story. But that is all it is. There is no introduction to the volume and only a sentence or two at the start of each entry. Which are attributed to both Gatiss and Moffat. Which are fine, but it feels like this was just slapped together to cash in on the popularity of the series. I was expecting a few introductory essays with more detailed insights into either the original stories, what the authors felt about the stories or how they incorporated them into the TV series. If this wasn't a library book, I'd have asked for my money back.
