If you want an insight into the 45th President without a bunch of words, this is for you. Excellent.
The cover on this graphic book might suggest that this book is one of humour: jokes poking mega-fun at the Donald at his ownexpense. Nothing could be further from the truth. Though “Trump” is written in the format of a graphic book, you know, like a comic book consisting of cartoon frames usually reserved for much more juvenile contents that includes a lot of “biffs” and “bangs”, “zips” and “wows”. But there is nothing juvenile about this little book: after all, what could be more serious than Donald? Full of (false) facts that DT would be bound to refute tweetingly, this little book makes for interesting, informative reading. And not, I don’t think, falsely so.
This book is for everyone who just doesn't like to read. This is a short book with nice graphics. Not everyone needs a 400 hundred page book to learn about Trump and what he truly stands for.
Good graphics and text; very entertaining.
So, nothing new here that you are going to discover or learn, but it was fun read nevertheless. Make sure to read author's afterword as well, where he nicely summarizes current situation as " This is about more than wheather Donald Trump is really a racist or wheather Hillary Clinton is truly dishonest. This is about the failure of the 2 party system, touted to schoolchildren as the best political system ever created by mankind, to address citizens' most basic needs."
Ted Rall is at the top of his game right now, biographical comics really are his best works.
Trump A Graphic Biography reminds us of things the media has forgotten or no longer reports about.
