For once, no one is trying to pin a murder on Eleanor Swift, owner of the Slice of Delight pizzeria in the quiet town of Timber Ridge, North Carolina. But someone has to answer for that body in her kitchen ... and it looks like the final stop for her deliveryman, Greg Hatcher, might be the penitentiary. But Eleanor knows Greg would never have bashed his brother, Wade, in the head with a pizza rolling pin. So she and saucy sister Maddy dig a little deeper into the mystery.

This is the second in the series that I have read. I found the story engaging and it kept me interested throughout. My only complaint is that the heroine Eleanor needs to lighten up a bit. It seems that she is too often mad or sad. I think she needs a love interest that she can focus on instead of the "woe is me" attitude she sometimes has.Other than that I enjoy this series.

Good story. I don't even like pizza but I like this series.

Perfectly good cozy mystery, with food in it.

This is a great series. If you like Kate Collins, Denise Swanson or Joanne Fluke you will love this series. This is the second in the series.
