I didn't find the book at all as slow as the other comments but it did have its draggy moments liked the story as a whole though Linda Howard has never failed to entertain but I have never read any of the other ladies books

I usually enjoy both of these authors, but this book didn't even read like their other books. It was slow and monotonous. I had to force myself to get through it. I liked the ending but the rest of the book stunk. I hope these authors get their act together for the next book.

This book is a real zero star, but then it would look as though I didn't rate. Really awful book! Boring characters, stupid story line and dumb ending. I never would have checked this out if I had known Linda Jones has "contributed" - you can tell she wrote the book and her good friend Howard added her name to sell copies. Never read a book by Linda Howard with a Linda Jones collaboration.
