Some fish could stay in the mud for months, even years, and when at last there was a high flooding tide, they would swim away, a dark flash, remembered only by their own kind. So perhaps the stories they told of our people were true: no net could hold us.”

A foster kid with the ability to go back in time 23 minutes tries to prevent a deadly bank robbery. Do you know the old adage if at first you don't succeed, try, try again? It's like that. But she can only try 10 times before the past is closed to her. And if she dies, it is game over.
A quick, fun read.
Interesting premise. Way too much internal musings and deliberation. Skipped to the end.
