John Sandford and Michele Cook follow up their New York Times bestseller, UNCAGED, with the next nail-biting installment in The Singular Menace series. Perfect for fans of The Maze Runner!

Shay Remby and her gang of renegades have struck a blow to the Singular Corporation. When they rescued Shay's brother, Odin, from a secret Singular lab, they also liberated a girl. Singular has been experimenting on her, trying to implant a U.S. senator's memories into her brain--with partial success. Fenfang is now a girl who literally knows too much.

Can the knowledge brought by ex-captives Odin and Fenfang help Shay and her friends expose the crimes of this corrupt corporation? Singular has already killed one of Shay's band to protect their secrets. How many more will die before the truth is exposed?

Obviously Sanford lent his name out to this Michele Cook, because this is no where nearly as good as the Prey series, or the Virgil Flowers series. It's dumb and it's hokey. Waiting avidly for the next Virgil or Lucas/Weather/Letty novel, but this just plain s................

[IMHO: the best series John Sandford {and his wife} ever wrote!!!!!!]
Outstanding continuation of their previous book, Uncaged, a fictional book [which just as easily border on the nonfictional] about a corporation, connected to the highest levels, and its human experimentation and the underground activists fighting against them. Both bummed out, and excited, by another book to follow [hopefully it will stop as a trilogy???]. [Sidebar: Underground activism is the ONLY way to go today, the elites simply have too many and too much ultra-tech at their disposal, whether the NSA's ICREACH, or private intel contractors and their Trovicor Monitoring Center, et cetera; e.g., they've kept WikiLeaks' Julian Assange holed up in an embassy in London, costing the Brits the equivalent of $16,000 either daily or weekly, and Assange has never ever been charged with anything!]
