I find the goose bumps books slightly pointless to read. But this film was ok.

Hilarious. Entertaining. Priceless.
Instead of creating a blood-chilling horror movie, a film company combined the Goosebumps stories and their author R.L. Stine into a delightful-to-watch motion picture. Incredible acting and great plot. I'm glad the zombies weren't so… well, modern zombie-ish.

Great movie amazing story line. I am surprised it is rated PG(it should be rated I little less the PG-13(PG-12 if possible)) . Do not watch if you do not like monster.

I hadn't watched the other ones because I always thought they would be scary but this one was actually pretty funny rather than scary

Awesome! :)

I did put a hold on it back in January but than i forgot to watch it cause i i had others movies to watch from the library and we always forgot to watch it so i started watching it today it is soo good but1 thing i don't like about this movie is how this girls dad starring Jack Black witch it doesn't look like him to me in the movie is that he doesn't want her to hangout wit her friends or any of her friends cause he wants to protect her some the bad thangs like her dad keeps old books in his house that causeed bad things to happen to the world and the biy is acsolly a new boy moving in a new house in a new nightberhood in a new town i think it's funny how Jack Black says you go home puy on your PJS and than you go nap nap and another part is pritty silly and funny how the dwarfs are attacking them and then the boy is hiting them with a shovel and breaking them. Later, the dummy was on the phone at the police station and the officers were about to shoot him and when they called him a dummy, he said "Who are you calling dummy?" Then, an army of creatures came through the front door and froze the officers. A girl also found a poodle who looked cute and she gave it some water, but then it showed its fangs and chased her. I remember when I was in Gr. 7 the very first time i watched Goosebumps was pritty scary for me and i got that vhs from someone and it was called stay out of the basment and it always scared me when i watched at home always but i would watch it anyway evan whenn it scared me but when i was in gr. 8 it still scared me but not as much anymore but when i was in gr.9 i still got scared but in gr. 7 yes i was scared .

The Goosebumps movie is a tongue-in-cheek kids action adventure from the 80s -- such as Gremlins or The Goonies -- and deserves to sit beside them in the genre. It is a
horror movie , that it is not scary for adults or teens but still pretty scary for 5-12-year-olds. It is a steady stream of enjoyable human-versus-monster action and delightful dummy-based physical comedy. Jack Black is great as RL Stine. I recommend this with my previous caution that it will be pretty scary for those below the age of 12 and could lead to nightmares..
