I appreciated the diversity of daddies included in the book, but I did miss: the two-daddy homes, the my-daddy-lives-somewhere-else-but-still-loves-me daddies, the step-daddies, and the uncle/grandpa/foster-parent/other-wonderful-stand-in-daddy daddies that make up so many of the loving families in our society.

Todd Parr's colourful and simple illustrations make this an excellent read-aloud for young children!

Although all Dad's are different, they have something in common. All Dad's love their kids.
