Read: Magic Steals by Ilona Andrews

Surprisingly really entertaining. The mystery case was very interesting and the couple has definitely grown on me. I, like many of the readers, was annoyed with Dali and her peculiarities. in the beginning. But then I thought why does she have to be a Kate/Andrea like heroine? Aren't we always harping on about wanting a diverse set of characters. So now I'm cool with her, though their plan of to defend their alpha status is pretty silly.

These short stories will give the reader enough of a feel to how each author unfolds the story line.
Milla Vane's story is a tad raunchy yet does not detract but adds to the overall feel.
Lisa Shearin has a nice pace with fun comedy and possibility of a romantic connection.
Ilona Andrews never disappoints. Fun to see more of Dali & Jim. Chuckles on Dali's veganism.
Nalini Singh story is "comfortable" outcome is known.
