This book was lacking in plot and pace. I thought it to be a little boring...Everyone who reads this book knows what it is about, so why did it take 100 pages for the "abusive bf" thing to begin??? sorry but i thought the book to be unrealistic. No good. Looking for insight into an abusive relationship? go read dreamland or breathing underwater. Those were terrific.

Both the writing and message of the book was good, but it was quite predictable from start to finish so that did take away from the impact/seriousness of it. Overall, well written though and I'd recommend it.

This book was very good, but also VERY scary. It had my heart pounding until the very end.

A sad and extremely emotional story about verbal and physical abuse in teen relationships. This book could be a real wake-up call for someone and I HIGHLY recommend it to any teen girl in a serious, involved relationship.

Powerful book, but sad.

I would definetly recommend this book to anyone who loves romantic stories espeacailly highschool romance. The main character alex was very easy to connect with a real life behaviour of a teenager. All the characters are played well, but the reason why I didnt rate it full 5 stars is because some parts of the novel, the is widley exagerated. Over all, it is a very good book, and is kind of like a mystery as well cause it just gets unexpected, and keeps you hook. Also very well written!

I appreciate the information about abuse in the end of the book that may be particularly helpful for teens who are or who know someone experiencing abuse in a relationship. Unfortunately, the book and story itself were not amazingly enthralling or engaging. Writing felt a little superficial and the characters didn't grab me. A little bit too long of a book--could have more impact if shorter.

I found this a great book. Really shun some light on relationship abuse in teens. Alex was relatable and overall the book kept you interested.

to me this book was okay. Some parts were kind of boriong and slow. But I liked this book and how the author really showed you how a relationship with a boy or girl can impact your relationships with everyone else like family and friends. This book was good. :)
