A gorgeous book! If you wish to know what authentic arts and crafts homes actually looked like (and the philosophy behind them), this is the book for you! The book covers bungalows around the world and, remarkably, many of the featured homes are located in Vancouver! This indicates what a unique architectural heritage our city has or, sadly, had. As a city, Vancouver has never valued it's unique architecture and most of it is disappearing. (I want to weep every time I drive through the west side of Vancouver.) There are still a few nice arts & crafts homes on North Vancouver worth saving too.
