After reading 7 chapters, I quit. There were already 7 different stories, and I didn't have a clue what the story was about. I didn't get a good feeling on any of the characters - in fact, I can only remember a single character - because th e interaction with each was so brief, and then the author jumped to another story.

I love vocabulary, but the author uses so many unusual words that I often had to look up 3 words in a single sentence. This further distracted from the story
