This was a cute book and I thought it was kind of silly the way the critic stated it '[C]hildren may deduce from this story that it's okay to take revenge on unsuspecting people.'

It was most certainly not like that at all. Sure, she takes revenge on her sisters, but only because she gained self-respect, and showed her sisters that, and it results in her sisters believing in her.
