Long ago, remember reading and liking "Rich Man, Poor Man" but not this one; just re-read it and it is horrible. Major continuity errors from first novel, plus it meanders with no plot and no depth. Much of it is very minor characters from the first book retelling its events, often in the exact same language. This reads like the author either did this book for a fat payday, or died and some hack decided to do a sequel. Do not waste your time.
