Wits Workout: Keeping Your Brain Healthy
Our brains help us do important things like talk, think, learn, make good choices, and remember. To keep our brains healthy, it’s important to exercise, get 7 to 8 hours of good sleep, and eat healthy foods that are good for the heart. These habits help our brains stay strong as we get older.
The Wits Workout program uses research about brain health and aging. According to the creators of the program, “just like our muscles, our brains need exercise to stay strong and flexible. Trying new and different activities helps keep our brains sharp as we age.”
