Events › National Library Week 2026 Special Event Station

In celebration of National Library Week, we'll be hosting a special event station operated live from the library branch.  Visitors can watch licensed operators make real on-air contacts with stations across the country - and possibly around the world.  Stop by to see how radio communication works, learn about the role libraries play in community learning and connection, and even try making a contact yourself under the guidance of an experienced operator.  This drop-in event is open to all ages and requires no prior knowledge.  Come celebrate National Library Week in a unique, hands-on way!
